3. Button
:P lol I had an awesome time sledding with my friends, despite it being bone chillingly cold! After an hour or so I go down this one hill in a circular sled and at the end there is this huge pile of dirt, covered with snow, that my friends had been going over. When I hit it, going backwards, I do a back flip in the air landing on my higher back. So here is my way of being safer... I'll go down it again but with a sled that is straight and won't have me go backwards... Going down this hill extremely fast the mound, basically, was a ramp that I flew over when I came to it. This time I landed on my tail bone. :( I was hurting so bad!! Stubborn, as usual, I said I was okay and started walking up the hill. My brother came to me pretty quickly and I was leaning on him because I became dizzy and had a hard time hearing. When I told one of the other families cousin, who was helping me up the hill, what a I experienced he told me that I almost passed out. That's enough sledding for me. Finally arriving at the top of the hill the other family prayed over me, which I was thankful for. :) My mom was actually praying for everyone around the time it happened, she was at home. I was being watched out for. :) This happened not too long ago and I'm still very much sore! Also my stomach has been kind of hurting when I cough or sneeze. Somehow I can't help myself from getting hurt. Pray for me. lol Almost expectingly I wasn't the only person that got hurt. This sledding place isn't quite the safest... Anyway I hope I get better(immediately) because here soon there is going to be a skating party. Let's see what injuries I end up getting. lol Be safe while having sledding fun. :)
Read more...Although it isn't mother's day yet I still wanted to do this post. I love my mom so much, she means the world to me! I talk to her about everything, she is my best-friend! Almost every day she says something that makes me laugh! Here are some stories of times when she makes me smile, and perhaps roll my eyes a bit. ;)
"I hope he(my bro) doesn't have a disease that will make him grow extremely tall! You know those TV shows where they can't stop growing?" -Mom
"He does not have a disease! That is so mean telling my brother you think he has a disease! *laughs*" -Me
"I hate when I hear or watch something where someone goes to bed because they have a headache and then die. I have headaches all the time!" -Me
"At least it is a good way to die, you just go to sleep." -Mom
"I don't want you to ever smoke a cigarette, but you can try a cigar." -Mom
"I'm scared of my room because I saw a spider in it." -Brother
"If you look hard enough you'll find them everywhere." -Mom
"Mom my hair is turning more blond because of swimming all summer!" -Me
"At least it didn't turn green." -Mom
"My ankle hurts." -Me
"It's probably a little spider that bit it." -Mom
All the time she makes me laugh! I should probably keep a journal that tells all the funny things she says. :)
I love you so much mom! You keep pushing me to keep going and you're such a great help to me!
I have to say I'm wondering why I only have 7 followers. : / I know I'm slacking on writing and that I'm a little all over the place when it comes to what I talk about but I don't think I do too bad of a job. Right? Anyway suggestions would be nice. lol What would you like to read about? Here are some questions so that I could perhaps narrow down what I write about:
1. Talk about family or life?
2. More photography?
3. Keep book and movie reviews pretty random?
4. Have some French words in my posts(I would tell what it said)?
5. Have competitions?
6. Tags?
7. Fashion?(Don't worry I wouldn't mind doing posts on that. ;))
8. Quote competitions once a month?
9. My random thoughts?
10. Ever so often tell you something that I dream of doing?
Remember what do you want to read about, please comment and tell me! Thanks. :)
Hello readers! :D Since I am having a hard time lately to think of what to write about please give me ideas!! I literally cannot wait to be able to drive!!! My birthday is closing in fast and I'm so excited! It will be my sweet 16th! Already one of my friends has had their birthday and has her permit! I will be the second one out of my girl friends, that are my own age, who will have it! I happen to be a tad bit scared of sharp turns, however will I survive! :P Also I haven't even started to study for the permit test. *rolls eyes* My mom is really looking forward to me driving by myself, so she will not have to drive me around all day, yet she is scared to death of the possibility. How contradicting. Although I'm a bit contradicting myself because I know when I start to drive, despite the overwhelming thrill, I will be scared to death! Especially with cars around me! I might be asking for prayer here soon. ; ) I'm already counting down!!!
I'M GOING TO GO PLAY IN THE SNOW NOW! Hopefully there will be pictures that I can post. : )
I finished this book in less than five days. When I was reading it I would stop periodically but after a short amount of time I would come back to it. Even when I wasn't reading it the book would prey upon my thoughts. Fahrenheit 451 would be a great book for group discussions; yet you would have to meet every other day. lol Before I explain what this book is about I have to tell you that it had a lot of cursing. Also they would just say God's name just to say it and would very badly use it in vain. Especially at the end three pages, although it was all throughout it. :P To the book review. Fahrenheit 451 is the degree at which book paper burns... In this world Guy Montag(always referred to as Montag) is a fireman whose job it is to burn books. All firemens job is to burn books. All homes are fire proof. Curiosity compels Montag to take a book here or there when no one is looking. As the pressures of life: his wife trying to commit suicide, watching a lady burn to death, meeting Clarisse who makes him think, and all the other stresses that crowd around him, he begins to search for answers within the pages. TV is the way everyone spends their day, having 'familys' and conversations with no one. In this world if you wanted to talk to someone you were getting the wrong kind of socializing. People got rid of books because they didn't want people to be smarter than they and the majority didn't want to have to read or expand their minds. Montag kind of loses it and starts reading to some friend's of his wife, who inevitably call the fire department. Also he kills the fire chief and is on the run from the police. Millions of people are able to watch this spectacle on the TV. When Montag loses them, they hunt down and kill a different man because they can't have the public know. Montag becomes a hobo along with others who keep the books in their mind. Please realize that I am leaving quit a bit out. This line in the book kind of freaked me out...
"We must all be alike. Not everyone born free and equal, as the Constitution says, but everyone made equal."
