Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
I simply adored this movie!!! It was great!!! At times I felt like screaming and I kept asking my mom if it was going to work out, she continued to tell me, "I haven't watched the movie before." lol Didn't keep me from asking. ;) This movie is about Jefferson Smith being chosen to be a senator of his state. Knowing nothing about politics is just what the people who chose him want. Although when he finds out Jim Taylor's maniacal plan and how his own 'friend' had lied to him, it sends him to fight in a fight worth fighting for and a lost cause. Being lied about in such extremes obviously makes people turn against him. Mr. Smith's one hope of recovering his honor is showing people that this has to be a lie because why would he do what he is doing. I'm trying not to give vital info. ;) Jimmy Stewart plays Jefferson Smith and acted wonderfully! I loved him in it! I was a fan of his, although he wasn't all that because of the movie Rear Window(which I hated) and this redeemed him. Such great acting by all the cast! Can you believe it? I have nothing to complain about! lol Although this movie is political it was not boring and anyone can love it! My brother was saying that it might not be everyone's cup of tea...then he continued and said, "Whoever doesn't like it isn't American." lol So melodramatic I know. ;) Anyway if you are wanting to watch a movie you haven't seen before consider Mr. Smith Goes to Washington!

Unfortunately I have to say that I did not like this Miss Marple mystery, which is very disappointing. The Mirror Crack'd is about an an emotional actress who comes to live in Gossington Hall, which was formerly owned by Mrs. Bantry. As Marina Gregg(the actress) and her husband Jason Rudd host a small get together inviting people from the neighborhood. As everything seems to be going well Mrs Badcock is murdered by poison which was administered to a cocktail. Who could have done it with everyone around? Why didn't they notice? Why did it happen? Miss Marple is older so she does most of her investigating from her home. Even though this all seems quite interesting it was a little boring and drawn out. The end was so surprising! I did love the conclusion and finding out how and why it all came about. Although I wouldn't suggest reading it. My advice read The Body in the Library, which is another Miss Marple mystery. To those who have read the book: When I found out everything and such I felt quite sry for Marina, once I took in consideration of what she had done to her other children I wasn't so sympathetic.

Hey! Do you like my bookshelf I added to my blog? It took me forever!!! Anyway I'm happy with it. Since we might have sold our house we are working like crazy to get the house ready!!! Please pray for us that it will all go through. Strangely enough none of us are really getting are hopes up too high. I guess we are just taking it in strides. If it does go smoothly I will be so excited! Getting the house ready has been more work that I thought it would be! We are just fixing things... Anyway I have to apologize for not writing more! Sry. I now have 13 followers! Thanks so much! Hope you enjoy my writing. Yes this week is our spring break!!! Yet...we are still doing some school to catch back up and really get our math down. How complex math can be! Definitely not my best subject. Work, work, and work! lol Anyway I was given three different journals for my birthday so I decided to use certain journals for specific things. Like using the one that has a verse from the Bible on each page as my Bible journal. I will be putting in it Bible verses to remember, prayer list, and what I got from certain verses. Btw please pray for this lady I know who is not a Christian, pregnant, not married, and already has a child. Thanks. Have a great week!
