Writing Frenzy

Recently I have been in a writing frenzy! A couple of my friends, from where I used to live, have started writing me and I have been writing back! I didn't expect it to be so much fun! Also I have started writing another book! I plan on really going through with this one! It is a Christian/murder mystery book. Haven't decided on a name yet. I do have the prologue completed and chapter one is coming along, both of which need some editing that my brother and friend Danielle are helping me with. It has always been a dream of mine to become an author...I suppose I'm considered a writer but to have something published would be a dream come true. If, one day, I do succeed I'll tell you and you'll have to read it! lol Are you much of a writer?

2000 Piece Coca Cola Puzzle

Yes, we have completed a 2000 piece Coca Cola puzzle! My brother did 'most' of it. ;) lol More like all of it! I did help though! It has taken up our table and still is holding it captive. :) Soon we will be putting it up on our wall! :D It was given to us by our grandfather and were quite scared to know whether all the pieces would be there. My mom said if there was a piece missing she would cut out the shape and color it. lol :)

Dyed My Hair!!!

Does the title of this post speak for itself?! I dyed it red! Yes, I know, I already had red hair..but I was tired of people always saying that I had strawberry blonde hair. In the back, I have to admit, it was turning a bit more blonde than I would have liked. Honestly I don't think people will be saying that now! lol Having begged for several years to be able to dye it she always insisted on no, which was quite a surprise for me when she said I could!...with a little help from my dad. ;) Only one person in this family isn't happy about my dying my hair...and that person happens to be my brother. :( Hopefully he'll get used to it.  Don't worry it is not like a red red but looks natural and now my hair is more of a consistent color. Will I dye it again..? Perhaps. :) Have a wonderful day!

Day at the Beach!

               
          As you can tell I'm having a little trouble with my camera. Such as that horribly ugly little black spot!! :(

                                   
                          I'm not joking or over exaggerating when I say the waves were huge!!

                      It was so cool how the planes would fly over head! They were so close!!!

Isn't the beach a beautiful place?! And to think I live somewhat near it! Since moving can be quite stressful we went to the beach for the day! I had never seen surfers before! It was quite cool! Although I think I went out too far...I have such a problem with that. :P Having been out that far this surfur was about ten feet from my head when riding a wave! Frightening me because I was worried that if he might fall the surf board would go flying towards my head! lol The imagination I have. Also I started to get scared of sharks so I went closer to the beach, which was quite hard because of the rip current.  Every time I would swim really hard to get back the waves would pull me up into another wave and it took me quite some time to get back...quite exhausting. My mother was commenting to me how I have spent more time outside in the last 2 weeks than I have my entire life!..basically. lol To spend more time outside we went canoeing on Mother's Day. Even though I'm not  doing a Mother's Day post please don't think I don't love my mom. I adore her! Hope you enjoy the pictures and please comment and tell me your own beach time fun! :D

"The Moving Finger"

I know...I couldn't help myself...I read another Agatha Christie's Miss Marple!  This one is quite a bit different from the other Miss Marples' I have read. Surprisingly Miss Marple did not make her appearance in The Moving Finger till the last 50 or so pages! Mr. Burton is the character in which you have the story portrayed out to you.  Through this mysterious/romantic novel it is very easy to like Mr. Burton, for he has a giving personality and a mind that's on to something.  As his doctors suggest, because of an injury sustained from a plane crash, he moves down to Lymstock with his sister Joanna.  Even though there is a charming and subtle quality to this small quaint town there is evil afoot, with the beginning of a letter... Will Mr. Burton solve the case or is Miss Marple's presents fully needed, will his love be in danger to catch this twisted murderer...
I really liked The Moving Finger but I wish Miss Marple had more of a role, for even though she made her appearance near the end you hardly read her say anything or do much....other than solve the case...but it didn't really go into that.  Now I know I know the main difference between the Miss Marple and the Hercule Poirot books.  Miss Marple you are not always with during the book and don't get her opinion till the end while the Poirot books you are always with him and he doesn't leave you too much in the dark.  Whether to read Poirot or Miss Marple is up to your own liking. Fortunately I love them both! :D
I'm so sry for not posting sooner! I feel horrible about it! Maybe I just needed a little break to start posting like crazy again. lol Beware.... ;)
