"The Amazing Spider-Man"

 Saturday, July 7, 2012

Long time no see! Sorry for the lack of posts but I've had writer's block. Hopefully this post will break that spell.
Now you might be asking yourself, was this new rendition of Spider-Man really amazing? Well, I have to say they didn't do too bad of a job. ;) Actually it was pretty good! After reading a review from PluggedIn I was a little frightened that they ruined it. PluggedIn said something along the lines of "the first Spider-Man movie had less "stuff" in it and this movie was grittier." Honestly... they lied. Despite being a huge fan of the first Spider-Man movie I can say that that one had more "stuff" in it than this new release. Both I might add, had too much stuff in it, but that is beside the point. As for content I didn't catch up on any serious language in the "The Amazing Spider-Man". Although at the other end of the spectrum they did have some kissing parts. Really only two parts were Peter(Spider-Man) and Gwen(his girlfriend) are actually kissing and the other scenes they get really close to it. Also in the subway Spider-Man is having trouble controlling his "sticky" powers and accidentally rips off this lady's shirt. We see her in a bra and that is basically it. Very easy to see coming. When we were in the theater and I just turned to my brother and said "This is the part, close your eyes." The end.
In this adaption of Spider-Man a few things are different from the originals. Like how Mary Jane is not in it. Gwen is. Honestly the ages felt a bit off in this movie. Gwen seemed quite a bit older than Peter. I believe it was how they had her dress. It was all a bit too old for her. Also you finally get a clearer back story that will definitely come into play, eventually. I also felt that the original trilogy was more patriotic. Including the people of New York as people Spider-Man actually caring about him and being of some help. Basically just a great cheering squad. ;) Now I'm not actually going to do a review. I'm sry. Instead there is this:

Now here is my battle between the Spideys!

Andrew Garfield:
In "The Amazing Spider-Man" you couldn't really imagine him as the nerdy/made-fun-of kid. Sry. He appeared to be the more "popular" kind. What he did have going for him was that he appeared younger. In the other Spider-Man movie it felt like they were already adults. Andrew had that young feeling that was lacking in the other movie.

Tobey Maguire:
He will always be my Spider-Man. Can't help it. I grew up with that movie. Now Tobey Maguire is the guy that we could all cheer for! He was that perfect nerdy kind of guy. Not too cool or anything like that. Although the acting was a bit too grown-up. Taking into consideration that he supposedly just graduated from high-school in the first movie. Also, I have to say, that he kind of got on my nerves at times. Too angry. :P

Who do you believe is the perfect Spider-Man? May the battle begin.
God bless and have a wonderful weekend! :)

"The Three Musketeers"

 Thursday, June 21, 2012

Well, I have to say that I am so glad that I decided not to have my brother watch this movie with us. *shakes head* This movie was not very good. Enjoyable, to a certain degree, but not in the least recommendable. There was so much "stuff" in it that I was repulsed. So much of it was just added in the movie to take up time. Cleavage, skimpy dresses, and passionate kissing make this movie not worth seeing. Especially with guys. Did I find this movie funny? Yes, actually I couldn't help but laugh at times! If you are a girl and you want to see this movie it won't scar you for life. If you get my meaning? The reason I'm "against" this movie is because I was extremely disappointed
Anyway... lol Sry there isn't an "actual" review. I wrote one but it wasn't worth reading. :P So, I will get that post written about the week with my friend... Eventually. lol God bless and have a wonderful week!

"Wives and Daughters"

 Tuesday, June 5, 2012

"Wives and Daughters" BBC movie is lovely. It can't necessarily be called fantastic, wonderful, or inspiring, so I use the term lovely. This version of "Wives and Daughters" is five hours long. Now the rather simple review. ;)
As a little girl, Molly Gibson, is raised by her widowed father. Years later, after checking up on a patient, Mr. Gibson meets a women to whom he would wish to be the new Mrs. Gibson. Once they are married and settled in his home Mrs. Gibson comes to live with them. All this is a lot for Molly to digest. Although she loves her father dearly and will put up with anything for his sake, even a women who detests a simple thing like cheese. After a little bit of time Molly meets her new stepsister. Surprisingly she finds that she truly does like her new stepsister, Cynthia. With flirtatious behavior and good looks throws many men in Cynthia's path. Will she be the right kind of influence on Molly? Spending time with Hamleys brings new acquaintances and Molly finds herself in the company of Roger and Osborne Hamley. Osborne is the first born and is known for his looks and smarts. Roger on the other hand was more passed by but has a love for science. Molly comes to love one of these young men. Sadly though the man she loves professes love for her beautiful stepsister. Bearing all this with the utmost dignity she harbors no resentment to her stepsister. Then a Mr. Preston arrives and claims that Cynthia has promised to marry him! With all kindness Molly takes it upon herself to help Cynthia out and finds herself now at the end of gossip. Will her reputation be ruined? Will the man she truly loves come to his senses?! Is Cynthia someone with far too flighty feelings? Through and through Molly will always be Molly. :)
Honestly I have to tell you that at times I was extremely bored. This is not a fast paced movie and takes a long time for things to come about. Despite that the ending made up for everything! Loved! I'm not joking I was acting like a little girl bouncing in my chair. hehe. Anyway I would have liked to see them at least hug in the end. I was like "What?" lol Do I suggest this movie?.... Well I suggest it to be people who are quite used to watching very long movies. Also you have to be rather a sentimental romantic. ;) Honestly I didn't know I belonged to that class, at least entirely, until watching "Wives and Daughters". lol I love reading romantic books and watching these kind of movies.
God bless and have a wonderful week!

Molly Gibson!

The Wife, top right, and the daughters! Cynthia, left, and Molly, right.

Roger and Molly. Love this picture! Little science buddies!

"The Double"

 Sunday, May 13, 2012

I really liked this movie! Very interesting and upbeat! Before I continue I have to tell you that the cursing was very bothersome! In other words they included to use God's name in vain, around 7 times. Mostly in the first 30min. :P Also there was this one scene where they, the main characters, were interrogating this one women who was scantily dressed. Other than these set backs I would totally recommend this movie.

"The Double" is about two agents, Paul Shepherdson (Richard Gere) and Ben Geary (Topher Grace), who both devoted their lives to finding Cassius. These two men are thrust together after a soviet assassin, Cassius, kills a senator. Former CIA agent, Paul, tries to talk Ben out of trying to find this cruel killer, but his attempts fail. Ben has been searching and learning all he can about Cassius for too long to give heed to caution. Should Ben give up when it hits a little closer to home? Although not all is as it seems. With murders popping up here and there, Ben believes he has the killer. Or is it all just a mask to an even bigger plan?

I watched this movie on Netflix! Honestly I love Netflix! I will be spending all month, for that's when the free trial runs out, watching movies! Soon, once I'm done reading "North and South" by Elizabeth Gaskell, I will watch the BBC film! So excited! Should I mention that it wouldn't be the first time I have watched it, or even the second time? lol

God bless and have a wonderful week! Guess what? This is my 200th post! Not very exciting is it? ;) Anyway thank you all so much for the encouraging words that have given me the drive to give you 200 more! :)

War Horse

 Sunday, January 29, 2012

This movie was superb! I went with a bunch of friends and it made it even more special! Despite the fact that they had spurts of talking through it and getting up to get refills and restroom brakes. :P lol Here is the review, I'll try not to give too much away. :)
War Horse is about the journey of a thorough bred horse who will have to take the circumstances, thrown at him, with bravery and the boy who will never stop searching for him. No matter who Joey, the horse, comes in contact with he makes an impact on their lives. Whether for the British, Italians, or Germans during WW1 this horse's keen mind and understanding of what's going on around him helps him to survive.
Although I love this movie the beginning did take a little while to get going. If you can get past the beginning then I'm sure you will end up loving it like I did. My brother won't stop talking about it he loves it so much. The casting was different...but in a good way. They had Tom Hiddleston, Thor's brother, and the BBC Sherlock Holmes detective, Benedict Cumberbatch. Both of whom I love! :) For me, personally, it was a little hard to relate to the main character in War Horse though. As time went on I did eventually become emotionally attached. Yes, it takes awhile for characters to get any warmth from me. lol I'm very critical. ;)
Anyway I hope you go watch this movie or eventually watch it because you don't want to miss it.
God bless and have a wonderful week.

Courageous

 Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Wow! What an excellent movie! As you might have noticed sometimes Christian movies can be a bit cheesy or just have bad acting. Well this movie put those out of mind. Honestly I wasn't really up to watching it. I thought it would be boring and about people that were having trouble with their teens. Where I got that impression I don't know. lol I can assure you it isn't! Although it is about family and fathers making a commitment to raise their children right, it did it in the best way imaginable! This movie had me crying, then laughing, and then crying again. Usually I'm called "hard hearted" in my family because I don't cry during movies and the like but I have to say I broke down during "Courageous". They developed the characters and had you right there beside them. It was amazingly done and I fully give my recommendation to it!
Courageous  This is the trailer.

God bless and have a wonderful rest of the week. And don't forget to rent this at the Red Box!

Gaslight

 Sunday, January 8, 2012

This is an old movie, in black and white, but don't let that make you think it can't be extremely intense! During certain points in Gaslight I was screaming "run" and really just panicking. lol Nowadays people are watching horror movies and things like that, trying to get that scared and freaked out feeling. Well this movie did just that, without the junk that a horror movie has. It felt kind of like a Twilight Zone, but definitely amped up!
I'll try not to give away too much info. ;) In this movie a young girl's aunt is murdered and she moves away from that accursed house. As she grows older and falls in love she agrees to come back and live once more in the house. Soon the wonderful life that she imagined she would have disappears... And contact with the outside world becomes few and far between. What reason does her husband come up with for keeping her a "prisoner"?...  Although not all is lost. Someone does care and becomes evermore intrigued...Will she have the same fate as her aunt or will justice break through. Will she ever be the same/sane again?
How was that? ;) I believe it is a good swap for a horror movie. ;)
Recently I have been watching a lot of movies with Angela Lansbury. Including The Harvey Girls(I love that movie) and Murder She Wrote. :)
The Lord be with you and have a wonderful week. :)

October Sky

 Thursday, October 27, 2011

Listen to this while reading this post. lol I love the soundtrack! Coalwood
Well, since it is October I thought I would do a review on this movie. ;) I absolutely love this movie! Anytime I watch it it gives me a drive to do my school! A movie that does that is worth recommending! ;) Despite this movie's many positive elements it does have some cursing and mild inappropriate language on stuff... It really just depends on your family's tolerance level. As for myself I don't like those things(of course) but it does not hinder me from watching it.
This movie is based on the true story of Homer Hickam, who was inspired by sputnik making it's way across the sky... In a small mining community, in West Virginia, Homer Hickam and three other skeptical students found themselves setting off rockets in hope of winning a science fair! If you're not football material, in Coalwood, you ended up working in the mines. Thus, winning this science fair was a chance at something more. Through hard work and determination these "Rocket Boys" would win the hearts of their community; and they captured something that was considered unobtainable...
Now can't you tell that "October Sky" is an inspirational movie! :D
The Lord be with you and have a wonderful rest of the week. :)

Thor

 Friday, August 19, 2011

Yay! I have finally watched "Thor"! It was amazing!!! At first I didn't have much of a desire to actually go out and see it but I'm so glad I did! I thought it was just going to be a lot of Greek mythology type things and all about Thor being a "god" but to my surprise it was't. Although they were supposed to be "gods" it didn't stress that point. Also this movie is super clean! Yipee! Even though at this one point they had Thor without his shirt on and his pants being quite low it didn't last more than a minute. And they kissed...but it is all so romantic. lol  I looked up this movie on Plugged In and it tells how much cursing it had in it, which is a lot more than I actually heard. I honestly think you have to be listening for the curse words to even be able to hear them. Throughout, basically the entire movie, I was hoping that Thor's brother was going to be good! : '( I really had no idea that he was going to turn against them all... At the end of "Thor" I was so upset that Thor and Jane were cut off from each other... hopefully there will be a second movie! :) "Thor" had a perfect amount of story and action! Going and watching this movie was a perfect way to end summer break and start the school year! :) Yes, I'm totally recommending  this movie! ;) lol God bless and have a wonderful rest of the week!

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

 Monday, March 28, 2011

I simply adored this movie!!! It was great!!!  At times I felt like screaming and I kept asking my mom if it was going to work out, she continued to tell me, "I haven't watched the movie before." lol Didn't keep me from asking. ;)  This movie is about Jefferson Smith being chosen to be a senator of his state.  Knowing nothing about politics is just what the people who chose him want.  Although when he finds out Jim Taylor's maniacal plan and how his own 'friend' had lied to him, it sends him to fight in a fight worth fighting for and a lost cause.  Being lied about in such extremes obviously makes people turn against him. Mr. Smith's one hope of recovering his honor is showing people that this has to be a lie because why would he do what he is doing. I'm trying not to give vital info. ;)  Jimmy Stewart plays Jefferson Smith and acted wonderfully! I loved him in it! I was a fan of his, although he wasn't all that because of the movie Rear Window(which I hated) and this redeemed him. Such great acting by all the cast!  Can you believe it? I have nothing to complain about! lol  Although this movie is political it was not boring and anyone can love it! My brother was saying that it might not be everyone's cup of tea...then he continued and said, "Whoever doesn't like it isn't American." lol So melodramatic I know. ;) Anyway if you are wanting to watch a movie you haven't seen before consider Mr. Smith Goes to Washington!

The Court Jester

 Saturday, March 26, 2011

Wow, I am quite surprised how long it has been since I have written a movie review.  Since The Court Jester was recommend by a friend I decided to finally watch it. :)  Unfortunately I have to critique a few things such as the dressing apparel being indecent. :(  Especially when I'm trying to watch it with my brother.  Also some 'kissy' parts, although they were not too bad, we fast-forwarded over.  Without those things this movie was really good and funny...perhaps a bit corny! lol ;)  My brother and I were laughing and now have 'more' inside jokes together. The Court Jester takes place during the medieval time period.   In this movie a legion of men under the Black Fox are trying to restore the rightful heir to the throne, who is a baby right now.  When their plan doesn't exactly go their way the baby is out of their hands and is secretly hidden within the palace walls.  Trying to restore the baby to the throne is more of a job than it appears...  I love the main character Danny Kaye, who is simply hysterical! I loved him in White Christmas as well!  Truly this movie is filled with quotes that you could use! lol Here is one of them:

"The vessel with the pestle has the pellet with the poison, the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true. Or was it the the flagon with the dragon with the pestle with the vessel.?"

Northanger Abbey

 Wednesday, February 9, 2011

This is not going to be my normal kind of review, since I won't be telling the plot... I absolutely love Northanger Abbey!!  The version I watched is the Masterpiece one.  Unfortunately I do have to critique some things.  One of the things that bothered me the most was the cleavage. :P  You mainly see it from Catherine Morland's(the main female character) friend Isabella Thorp.  Several times you see her in her under garments that are very low cut and in some other parts.  Also Isabella is seen in bed with a blanket wrapped around her.  We did fast-forward some of Catherine's imaginations.  The reason these parts bothered me so, was because we were watching it with my brother, whom we had look away.  Btw there was some cursing but very little.  Now on to the good stuff! As I said before I loved this movie!  It was so romantic!   I absolutely love the part where they are outside, soaking wet, and he wipes the dirt from her face!!  I have to say I'm not a romantic kind of person, but when it comes to books and movies...! lol ;) Might I add that I'm not like Catherine though. lol The feel in this movie differs from that of Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion, in some respects.  So don't worry about feeling like your watching the same thing just in different plots.  Perhaps the reason I feel like it differs is because Northanger Abbey seems more real and relates to a younger demographic. The casting was splendid I have to say.

Although I thought it a bit odd how Henry Tilney(the main male character) fell in love with Cathrine.    Perhaps it was the age difference for me...  Also throughout the movie you knew they were in love but you didn't really see it come about.  At the end though Cathrine and Henry have this kissing scene, which was a bit overdone.  Please, please don't get me wrong I love this movie.  For some reason it's easier for me to critique than tell what was really good in it. :P

Btw I am dying to read the book! I know what I'm doing for spring break!
Now that I have read the book here is the review to it, Northanger Abbey

Somewhere in Time

 Friday, December 31, 2010

This movie is horrible!!! Usually I'm not apt to dislike movies but this was horrendous! The main character Richard Collier(Christopher Reeve) was creepy!! At the very beginning of this movie an elderly women hands him a watch and begs him to come back to her. Later that day she dies. When he is on vacation in the Grand Hotel he enters the history room where a picture of a lady hangs. He becomes obsessed with this picture causing him not able to get to sleep and go a little crazy. Finally he is determined to make it to the year 1912. The only way to get there is to get there in your mind, making him hide everything that is from the present. Over and over again he starts chanting to himself that he is in the year 1912. All of these so...interesting...parts in the movie take over 40 min. Remember that he is creepily obsessed. When Elise McKenna(Jane Seymour) and Richard are finally able to be together she falls in love with him within three hours of them knowing each other. All this takes place very quickly and sadly. After some semi-dramatic parts happen they are reunited and .... It's a bad part. The next day they are talking, some of the things were actually funny, when he takes out a penny that is from the present and is ripped from the past into the present, leaving his watch. In the end he dies of heart-break. This entire movie was depressing, weird, creepy, and not at all romantic. Another thing is that they did take Jesus's name in vain. My advise to you is to not watch it!

The Last of the Mohicans

 Friday, December 10, 2010

Since several people told me that my post Miracle on 34th Street didn't make much sense I will try to do considerably better on this one. :) I wasn't even planning on doing this review, that just tells you how much reviews I'll be doing this month. ;)

To start this out I have to say that people under the age of 15 shouldn't watch it. This movie is rated R for violence. There is some cursing in it, I actually didn't even hear but one, but there is more in it. Also the main male and female character have this one part where they kiss way too much. We fast-forwarded it. Other than that this is a wonderful movie! I absolutely love it! The filming and acting was superb! My brother thinks the music was anti-climatic though. lol Although the first 20 minutes were hard to understand. These two sisters are trying to get to their father's fort when they are attacked by Indians and are betrayed by their guide. Eighteen English officers die. Suddenly when they are also about to be slaughtered three other Indians come to their rescue. Nathaniel is the main one, which I'm not for sure if he is even Indian... Anyway they make it to their father's fort that is being sieged by the French. I forgot to tell you that this takes place during the French and Indian war. Later on when they had surrendered and the entire army was walking through the forest they were one again attacked by Indians. One thing I'm going to help you understand, which my mother had to tell me, is that the two daughters and their father have an Indian chasing them for revenge. He wants revenge because he was taken captive by their father and was made a slave. When he finally was no longer under him he went home to his wife, whom she thought was dead, was remarried. Once the vengeance seeking Indian had killed their father, which was quite gory, he goes after them. All through this Nathaniel and Cora, one of the daughters, have been in love. I'm not going to tell you anymore because I don't want to ruin the surprise. I hate the ending though! It's horrible! If you do happen to watch the movie please comment and tell me what you thought of the end!

Btw Watch/Read means that you either want to watch/read it, depending on the circumstance. Please comment and tell me if this review made sense. lol I think my problem with the last one was that I was going fast while writing it.

Miracle on 34th Street

 Wednesday, December 8, 2010

Before I start this review I have to warn you that this month will be FULL with blog posts! Including reviews! I love December...! Another great Christmas movie is Christmas with the Kranks. It is hilarious! More for 10 and up though.

Miracle on 34th Street is a wonderful and sweet Christmas movie. If you want something to watch with your family this is the movie! This film starts out where neither Susan Walker nor her mother believe in Santa Claus. Kris Kringle wants Susan to believe, which makes him ask her what she wants for Christmas. Susan replies that she wants a home, little brother, and a dad. This is a lot to pull off. ;) When Mr. Kringle is arrested because he lost his temper on a man, whom he hit on the head with a cane, it brings everyone together to stop him from being thrown into an asylum. All of New York City is pulling for him. The only thing, in Miracle on 34th street, that I believe they shouldn't have put in the same category was God and Santa. Although it wasn't too bad. This movie is really good, making you kind of wanting your kids to believe in Santa. I have never believed in Santa. Actually I kept trying to convince my mom that Santa was real but once I snuck out of my room and saw her wrapping presents I no longer did. I won't let my kids, if I ever have kids, believe in Santa either. Great Christmas movie and I hope you are able to see it this December. :D Have a wonderful Christmas!

Signs

 Monday, October 25, 2010

Recently I was able to have a friend over and we watched the movie Signs. She was spending the night because her dad was in the hospital from falling thirty feet out of a tree. Luckily he did not break one bone. The only thing that sustained a lot of damage was his spleen that ruptured. God had his hand on him! Now to the movie review! I have watched this movie more times than I can count, not joking! This is a suspense thriller but for some reason I think it is considered a horror film. I do not watch horror movies. Signs is about a family that has gone through something traumatic(I won't tell you what. ;)) and their weird habits, sickness, and records all come into play at the end. Mel Gibson plays the father, who 'was' also a pastor. From the traumatic event he loses his faith and no longer believes in God, but at the end of this movie he finds his faith and learns that nothing is luck but everything has a purpose. This is just the back plot though. One thing I have to tell you is that there are aliens in this movie, it is centered around that. Don't be weirded out by that and think it will just be stupid, because it isn't. I hate getting to this part....time for what was not good. There are no bad 'scenes' and there is very little cursing. One part I always fast forward is when the dad goes into the drug store. You will not miss anything by fast forwarding the entire time he is there. All that happens is the girl tells him everything. You can definitely watch this with your family but you might not want a young child getting too scared.

Also I hope you like my new blog template(background). My friend Dani helped me out with it. You can see her blog from the link on the side. Check it out!

The Incredible Hulk

 Friday, October 22, 2010

I really liked this movie, surprisingly enough. At first I didn't like the person they picked to play Hulk but before long I liked this person better than the one in the original. This movie had a lot of story throughout it compared to actual fighting scenes. I'm glad that they had a lot of story, which movies seem to be lacking here lately, but I do wish they had one or two more battles. Through the beginning and middle of this movie you learn how Bruce had to live with this 'thing' building up in him every time his blood rate rose. You find out when his blood rate is rising to high from a heart monitor he wears on his wrist. Through this movie it will give you an update on how long it has been since he last turned into the Hulk. I found that to be cool. Also he seems to have no control over the Hulk and only at the end do you see him be able to control it, mostly. For some reason I just really liked this movie! lol Although there was some things in it. At the beginning, when Bruce is running from the police, he climbs down a ladder and goes into this girls room he knows. Although when he first goes in she holds a bathrobe to cover herself. Also when he takes a shower it shows too much. I don't know how much because I closed my eyes. lol When both Bruce and his girlfriend go to bed, in separate rooms, you see her in a bra thing. One more thing, Bruce and his girlfriend have a bad part but it soon ends. I don't want all this to deter you from watching it, because it is very easy to avoid these things. Also this has very little cursing. I do believe it takes God's name in a very bad way, but I didn't hear it. I gave this movie a 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

Btw I added a song to my post Favorite Music. Check it out!

Conspiracy Theory

 Saturday, September 4, 2010

My family and I watched this movie a couple of days ago and loved it!!! I have to warn you though that the beginning is quite freaky! If you can get past that the rest of the movie is great! This movie is about a guy that comes up with tons of conspiracy theories and gets one right. For some reason this movie did not become famous. It is a suspense thriller! Btw I love suspense thrillers! The only thing bad it had in it was occasional cursing. Although it has less of that than movies that are made during this time period! Unfortunately while we were watching Conspiracy Theory it continued to, basically, have this loud busing throughout it! :P Despite that it did not ruin our time watching it. I recommend this movie!

Clash of the Titans

 Wednesday, August 11, 2010

A couple of days ago my family and I watched Clash of the Titans. Do I recommend this movie? No. This movie had so much about the gods that it was, at times, quite discomforting to watch. I thought it wouldn't be too bad because as we all know it's fake, but they went in such detail that you couldn't really count it as just a review of Greek mythology. Also the evil people in this movie were extremely evil! The look of them and what they said would give you shivers. I have to say though that this movie wasn't entirely bad. Still even the good in it was not enough to take away the down side of it. My mom was telling me that the old version of Clash of the Titans is much better. Hopefully soon I'll be able to watch it. :)

Drive-In

 Thursday, July 1, 2010

I have to say that I had one of the longest days ever! lol First we went swimming for several hours, then we ran some errands. When we got back from running errands my parents decided that we should go to the drive-in. Chaotically we had to rush! Also my parents decided that we should go out to eat. lol We didn't have that much time either! So we rushed to the place where we ate and great thing they were quick or we wouldn't have made it. Once we were done eating, which was as fast as lightning, we went to the drive-in. Successfully we made it to watch Toy Story 3 and Prince of Persia! :D I won't do too long of a review on them. ;) I really liked Toy Story 3! I'm actually quite surprised, I thought it would be just really kiddish, but it wasn't. Definitely recommended! I really like Prince of Persia also, but I would have probably preferred to watch it at home. Although Prince of Persia is really good and has awesome fighting scenes, it just wasn't entirely my cup of tea. I don't really know why though. There's hardly anything bad in it, which is good. By the time we got home it was 1:00 in the morning! One great day! I forgot to tell you that my mom cried during Toy Story 3! lol So many people are doing that! lol Also I love the drive-in!
